.What He can Do at 4-5 months
* Roll Over. Mommy can't leave him alone on the bed. Usually I'll ask Ashva to 'take care'. Once her turn over only she'll shout. "Mommy, Thamby khupi keran"(turn over) many times and she push him to original position before I come. hehehe ....good girl na!
* Love to Suck his finger and newly his toes too
* Can lift up his stomach and head after turn over, trying to do 'something' and he goes backwards.
* Can easily grasp and reach things. Very fast. So no more coffee in one hand and baby in other hand!
* Babbles and coos more! Love to hear that !
* Like to watch us when we are eating. Is is time to wean now? Wait another few weeks may be. For my doughther i start when she was 5 month 2 weeks. See how? Sure i'll update here.

Scary title right? Yes, it happens on Sunday (29.06.2008) at Batu Caves Temple. We (Daddy,Mommy, Ashvaa and Hervin only) went to shave my son's hair. Just a few minutes only, suddently I noticed, no sound of her and asked Daddy " Hey, where is Ashwini" He looked at me, I looked at him. We get PANICED!! I called her name "Ashwini" Ashwini" and run around the car park area ( in was non-covered car park, and beside the temple's art gallery (Quite crowded area with tourist and local visitors- And that Sunday was like mini Thaipusam ( Crowded with people and movie shooting was taking place too). Back to story. I run here and there like crazy shouting her name! But I couldn't find her. People around start to looking at us, some came and ask "How old is she, what colour dress she was wearing" I answered them, but not stopped running. I cried, and prayed hard to find my dotter. My focus all was at the car park only, as need to cross the car park exit to go to other places (temple/art gallery) and I don't think so she would have do it. BUT She was not there.I was Really HOPELESS. Don't know what to do except crying!Daddy was searching the other side of car park with holding Hervin in hand! It was about less 10 minutes may be. I crossed the car park exit and start to find her at art gallery area, and some one called "Hey, your dotter is here, Selvam come over here( he called the man)". I looked at place he pointed and RUN towards my dotter! I Saw her was crying and the man was holding her. I quickly grabbed from him, hold, Hugged and cuddle her! and move away from there (without saying thanks to him:( ) . My intention was to go to Daddy and to Say "LOOK! I FOUND HER!!).... She didn't stop crying for a while and throw out the milk she drank before. Then, about 15 minuted she settled dowm. But not me, my legs was still shivering and i was still crying and hugging her! Later we put them into the car as it starts to rain and try to relax from the incident. Can you imagine ? LUCKLY I FOUND HER BACK! if NOT I AM NOT HERE TODAY!!!!! I've learned a lesson and I LOVE HER MORE THEN YESTERDAY TODAY! yes! Just can't imagine "if I couldn't find her". Oh My GOD! Don't ever this happen again to me or to any one! I pray hard. When we reach home, I asked her"how you went there, with whom you went there" her answer "with Daddy" , "Ani, go up to see Murga" ( these are the repeated answers she is giving)....hmmm Could it be someone hold her hand (in other word Kidnapped??). I just can't imagine! Hold "his" hand without seeing his face, then cried after discovered "he" was her father???? Or walked alone ? (this one I don't think so, because she would NOT go that far without anyone's assist her!!! She is still too small ( 2 years 4 months old only, okey!) I JUST CAN"T IMAGINE!......until today, I still can't close my eyes. The incident still fresh in my mind and keep wondering! But ONLY the Gods knows the truth! I should have asked the person discoverd her. But I was too PANIC and speechless! only I did is CRIED! Thank you for the man and the people who helped us to find her. Thanks a lot. I REALLY Appreciate and I pray for you. Thank you so much. I may not find her without you people's help. I will go back again and Find Mr. Selvam, soon. ( he might be the temple's staff). I really wanted to thank him personally. HE HAS SAVED "OUR LIFE(ASHVAA)". People around said - "she is now, GOD's child. HE has given back to you, take care of her. She could be 'someone' in future. I want her to read this in future, who know what will happen tomorrow. I just want to say "WE LOVE YOU"so much. AND we will never forget in our life time.

My baby can flip over at 2 months 2 week! ( 02 MAY 2008 )
"Puyoo!, Herwin pandai, chellam"!
At first he was only trying to turn half of his body, not even 1 week he already can flip over the whole body. But he couldn't lift up his head properly! with the face 'bumped' on the mattress. His action really made worried, scared if no one around what will happen. (someone has help him to turn his head or turn him back to make him breathing)! oh Gosh! I reminded many- many times to my MIL and FIL (they are currently babysitting my son) to keep on eye on him! Me also was on alert during our night time sleep!
BUT now, he has learn to turn his head and also sucking his fingers (so innocent moment) and also kicks his legs. Glad! he has passed his one the major milestone in his journey!
Quite fast huh!
so what now! PRACTISING! his newfound skill to get around a bit. Can't leave him alone, sure he will quickly flip over, over and over again! Pheww! Good exercise for him and us!

* Has about 70 % of head control
* Hold the small rattles tightly
*Love to play his play gym (trying to reach them)
* LOVE to suck his mittons...(his mitton on left hand always wet) - I have top up 6 pair more!!!
*Can bear the weight on his legs ( 50%)
* Coo's when we talk him (so cute)
* Awlays wake up with a big SMILE which melt our heart in the morning!
----We quickly carry him and hold him tightly and kiss him. Seeing us doing this, his sister also would ask us to put him on her arm and kiss him ! what a loving big sister u have!

Hi all, I'm back to work today. Had give birth to a handsome charming prince on 19.2.2008 at 2.17a.m. So happy to have a boy! having no brother in our family, he gives us new feeling in our family! WELCOME baby! Many people says he looks like my hubby! hapyy to hear that. Info about my LIl' BOY

* After his brother born I can see changes in my doughter's behavoiur.
* SHE LOVES HER BROTHER SO MUCh but doesn't know how to express the love. She always will pinch his cheek and fall on his chest and face to 'sayang' him which makes him uncomfortable and cry!
* Always say "mommy carry! mommy carry !" especially whenever I carry his brother! So jeolous i think. What i do then ? Let down my son even if I feeding him, even he is crying ! and carry my liltle girl!

I bought a brand new MEDELA - SWING Breast pump and MLO Cooler Bag set. They so nice. Can't wait to use them.

1. We brought our girl to National Zoo. Here are the photos. She was so enjoyed as now only seeing the real animal after saw them in the books. Because mommy already had back pain in the middle of the visit, we didn't fully visit the zoo.
To Ashva: "Next time, can go again with our baby, okay chellam?"





Then, we had our lil' girl's Birthday celebration. Just a simple one.
Forgot to tell, she has been going to nursery school with her Kala Chitty. At first she was so excited, doesn't wants to come from school, but now refusing to go. Whenever i ask, whether she wants go to or not she would answer "today holiday".....hhhmmm .... but it's ok, you still have time to go to shcool. Mommy happy to let you enjoy as "THE ONLY BABY" status at moment! because very soon you gonna share with another lil' one!!

We bought her some education stuff as birthday present. She like it so much! and took pictures at grandma's backyard only as mommy not feeling well to go anywhere on her birthday. We cut 2 cakes, 1 in Kindergarten with some sweet packet given to her friends there and 1 more at grandma's home. So simple celebration but she enjoyed especially when singing "happy birthday" song!!!!

POO – KOH ( Back Dated story) - (14 Jan 2008)



It has been 4 days Ashvini weaned off with her pacifier. Yeah, remember my post earlier! But that time manage to stay for 1 or 2 days only, after that I give up.
Now, she can understand well, so I can cominicate with her well.
HOW?
Last Friday, before going to bed.

Ashvaa : Mommy ! Mommy! (running towards me with her pacifier) Poo – Ko Koyak!
Mommy : come mummy see! Oh yes, it’s ok chellam (dear), mummy’ll give a new one!
Ashvaa : new one, ah? Okay! (pull my hand to the wardrobe to take a new one)

But on the way to room, Mommy got an idea. May be this is the time!
Mommy pretend like searching for the POO-KOH!

Mommy: Ashni!, sorry chellam, mommy can't find any poo koh here! What shall we do now?
Ashvaa : (the face changed) ha? (request me to say it again I guess)
Mommy: Repeat my sentence!
Ashvaa : buy new ooneee! ( she say it with very pity face and sound) ...
Mommy : Ok , but not now! Tomorroow, Okay!
Ashvaa :Okayyy

The whole night she was very sad, cried few time, Daddy asked m eto give a new one. Pity her, he says. But i still insist to not giving her!
She was not ok, for 1 week, keep on asking for it - sometimes cried!
BUT FINALLY, sucessfully weaned off.

She can talk well and clearly. I love to listen to her. Daddy also always wanted to listen to her via phone.

She also can tell story of Daisy Duck, but very short one.
“Daisy duck hungry! ….Wants mum mum.. puppy say…”

She is now learning to count numbers 11-20. I found that she her 7 is missing when she count 1-10. Confused with to many number I guess. She loves to read and play with the cards. I always spend 1-2 hours before going to bed with her and her books.

Mommy : Ashni, where is the letter “A”
Ashvaa : A! where you ? Enge eruke ? (in both language) … so cute when she says that while looking for it!

TIPS:Children are most alert and ready to absorb information about 9.00-11.00, in the late afternoon after 5.00pm, and at night……….. (Parenthood magazine)
